The students at Kansas State University have discovered a new way of traveling to and
from classes that is way more time efficient, convenient and fun. It makes students want to go to
class and is something that students love to show off. But what is this new obsession? Mopeds.
The Kansas State students are obsessed with riding their mopeds.
Although mopeds have been around campus for several years, it seems like they have
skyrocketed in popularity this year. Everywhere you look you can be sure to spot a moped, or a
couple. Common places to spot a moped is in the parking lots around campus, fraternity houses,
college house driveways, stoplights, or cruising around town. The most popular places that
mopeds can be spotted are the business and engineering parking lots and fraternities.
Why are mopeds so popular, you may ask? Well they allow students to have a unique
way of traveling throughout their day. Students are able to drive to campus without having to
take their car which allows for better parking. It also allows students to leave at a later time to get
to class because they don’t have to walk all across campus. Lastly, mopeds are so popular
because they add entertainment to students’ lives. Not only do students drive mopeds to class but
they also enjoy just driving them around town. This allows students to have something fun to do
and talk about with their friends, roommates, classmates, colleagues, and whoever else is
interested in this topic.
Overall, Kansas State students have really shown that mopeds are on the rise and that
