It’s Friday, meaning it’s time to plan your Caturday outfit for tomorrow’s football game. Purple pride is all about spirit and style, so Manhappenin’ has ideas to help you look like a classy cat (pun intended, of course). Following the latest trend of neutrals with accent colors, we styled four outfits to fit a theme we call “Pops of Purple” for looks that will stand out for those Instagram worthy pictures. Going beyond the average powercat t-shirt, we’ve paired together white, black and denim with fun accessories and layers to create looks you can’t wait to try. Trust us when we say these ideas are a game changer.

Savoring the last of the summer weather that we somehow still have during the fall, we chose a lace white dress, making this look simple, easy yet dressy. The purple drop earrings we added stand out against the white to show our Wildcat pride. Recreate this look with any delicate dress with a pop of purple jewelry for a bold statement. We chose earrings; however, necklaces and bracelets will create the same effect.

Our next outfit layers a purple bandeau and a black dress with a deep V neckline and an open back to show off all the ruffled detail in the top. For accessories, we added a pearl white barrette to contrast the black dress and lavender, circular earrings for another touch of purple. You can recreate this look by layering a dress or overalls over a purple bandeau, crop top or tight fitted t-shirt, pairing it with accessories and purple accents.

If you don’t have a classic K-State bodysuit for game day, then girl, you’re missing out! Keeping the outfit neutral again, we paired this white bodysuit with a denim skirt, tying a silk lavender scarf around the belt loop. Of course, we had to add flirty sunglasses to complete the look. You can recreate this outfit by wearing a neutral colored bodysuit with denim bottoms, styling it with a plain or patterned scarf, sunglasses or other unique purple accessories that stand out.

For the last outfit, we kept it simple: jeans, a white Henley shirt, and purple bomber jacket that screams purple pride in its vintage aesthetic. A Caturday outfit doesn’t get any easier than this! You can recreate this look with any second purple layer over a neutral t-shirt and jeans — whether it’s a bomber jacket, soft drawstring jacket, windbreaker, cardigan, or button-up shirt.

Make your next Caturday outfit your own by adding pops of purple with shoes, barrettes, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, scarves, hair scarves, or any thrifted find that has a powercat. Show off your purple pride and your personality because the Wildcats in the stands are just as important as the Wildcats on the field!
