Spring break: the time of year where college students all over the country pack their suitcases and head off to the destination of their choice. Spring break is the perfect opportunity to make your Instagram profile even more aesthetically pleasing. Packing the following items will guarantee a hot Instagram picture and likes that skyrocket.

1. One piece swimsuit

One piece swimsuits came back in style last spring and have been a hit ever since. A one-piece swimsuit can give off the illusion that even after a long day of snacking by the pool, you still have a rockin’ body. If you don’t want to go full Baywatch, a similar option would be a bikini with high rise bottoms.

2. Beach Bag/Fanny Pack

A beach bag is absolutely a necessity because we can only carry so much in our two hands. A fanny pack is the best option because you are able to wear it around your waist and it is much easier to keep track of. Some essentials to carry in your fanny pack are sunscreen, hair ties, chapstick, and a granola bar.

3. Sunglasses

Purchasing a cheap pair of sunglasses is the best purchase you can make. From experience, losing an expensive pair of sunglasses is heartbreaking. The best places to get an inexpensive pair are Target, Rue 21, Forever 21, and H&M. The sun can easily damage your eyes and squinting at the sun can cause wrinkles so make sure you are prepared and pack a pair.

4. Shorts

A nice pair of jean shorts is essential for spring break. They are easy to throw on over your swimsuit before heading to the beach. You can also pair them with a nicer top and be ready for a night out. Jean shorts may not be the most comfortable, but you will be glad you packed them.

5. Two-piece sets

Two-piece sets are perfect for a vacay because you can wear them separately or together and depending on the occasion, you can transform the outfit from a beach cover up to an outfit ready for a night out on the town.

6. Jewelry

Jewelry with a swimsuit or a dress can make your outfit go from 0 to 100 by adding a necklace, body chain, or pair of earrings. A body chain or layered necklace will make your beach pictures even more trendy.

7. Sandals

Sandals or flip-flops are a must when walking along the beach or when grabbing a quick lunch. There are so many options and you can purchase them almost anywhere.

8. Wedges

It is a good idea to bring wedges with you to your destination. Going to dinner on vacation consists of dresses and cute shoes. Everyone can agree that wedges are much easier to walk in compared to heels.

9. Sundress

Packing a loose sundress or romper to throw on for dinner is key. You never know how sunburnt or sandy you might be after a day of chilling by the pool or beach. You can pair a dress with jewelry and wedges and you are out the door looking stylish with no effort.

10. Hat

Everyone has those bad hair days and they don’t fall short on vacation. Combining sand and wind does not do good for long hair but a hat is a solution. Throwing on a cute baseball cap or a big floppy hat can hide your hair by looking fashionable.
